Hardware Manager

About the role

Working closely with our Business Development Managers, Sales Account Managers, and external hardware suppliers you’ll be responsible for both driving hardware sales while improving our profit margin by constantly pushing for better prices from suppliers.

You’ll need excellent prospecting skills, the ability to proactively identify opportunities for growth/increased margin and be able to demonstrate a strong sales performance history (a minimum of 3 years) ideally within the telecoms industry.

Exceptional relationship building and negotiation skills coupled with an ability to think quickly are a prerequisite.

Main duties/responsiblites

  • Identify and capitalise on all opportunities to increase our hardware penetration across our partner base. Negotiating on buy price with suppliers on appropriately sized deals.
  • Develop supplier relationships with both existing and new suppliers, always looking to improve the buy margin.
  • Liaise with our Business Development and Sales teams to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Drive hardware sales in order to meet sales targets.
  • Constantly capture and communicate competitor data to the team/intel team.
  • Timely response to partner queries or requests for information relating to hardware acquisition.
  • Work with key stakeholders to form business plans to grow current sales volumes.
