Finance Assistant
Support finance operations by maintaining accurate records, processing payments, reconciling accounts and assisting reporting.

Job Purpose
The Finance Assistant will support the finance department with day-to-day financial operations, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting tasks. The role helps ensure accuracy in financial transactions while maintaining compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Working within our busy and dynamic team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records for the plan.com group of companies. While previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, it is not essential as full training will be provided.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
- Manage the finance and accounts email inboxes
- Prepare and process payment runs, including associated banking tasks
- Maintain the purchase ledger, including accurate input and verification of invoices
- Carry out general bookkeeping and account reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts
- Process employee expense claims and ensure compliance with company policies
- Provide support to internal departments by responding to payment and finance-related queries
- Support the wider Finance Team in delivering the financial requirements of the business
- Undertake any other ad hoc duties as required by the business
