For Envision and their customers, the biggest challenge is no longer price alone – it’s speed, access to information and control.

“We’re in this age where everybody wants everything now, now, now,” says Simon. “Information is so important, and people’s patience levels are just not there.”

In a traditional telecoms setup, even simple tasks like SIM swaps, usage checks or data changes can take days. Waiting for monthly bills or chasing networks for answers creates frustration, especially when customers need answers immediately.

Simon gives a real example: “A customer with another network needed to know what data had been used, when it was used, and what was happening at that time for an HR case. The request went through normal network channels and it was slow, painful and just didn’t tick the box.”

Winning more by offering real value, not just lower prices

By partnering with plan.com, Envision has been able to move away from a race to the bottom on price – and towards value-led conversations focused on productivity, control and insight.

“What plan.com allows us to do is offer something different,” Simon says. “People are prepared to pay more for better features, for control and for security.”

As a result, Envision is winning more deals and winning them more often. “We’ve onboarded a couple of large customers and have another in the pipeline where it’s not all about cost. It’s about productivity savings against cost – and that’s refreshing.”

Looking ahead, Simon is confident the partnership will continue to grow.
