At the beginning, N2S identified usage control as a priority for the business following several instances where employees and teams were exceeding their allocated budget and allowance. It also allowed the team to monitor trends and identify those systems or apps that were becoming business critical, such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint during the COVID-19 pandemic, and adjust any data restrictions as necessary to minimise any negative impact on productivity or excessive charges.
